North Platte Nebraska Music

North Platte is the largest community in Lincoln County in western Nebraska with a population of just under 25,000. The town is located between the rivers North and South Plateau and is named after the two rivers of the same name, because it is determined by its location between them. In November 1868, the Union Pacific Railroad reached what is now the North Coast. The name of the town originates in this part of this community, which is threatened by the rising waters of the East River and its tributaries.
